LADIES TAKE CHARGE OF YOUR RELATIONSHIP THIS YEAR

LADIES TAKE CHARGE OF YOUR RELATIONSHIP THIS YEAR.
Many women sometimes don't know what relationship entails. To many of them, relationship is just something that goes on. A man asks me out, I agree, we go out, I do visit him, we make love and thats it. This has led to lots of heartbreak, disappointment and depression. It's time ladies take charge of their relationship. Many times women have left a huge part of the success of relationship with men and this trend must discontinue if women want to get to the goal of their relationship.

It's time to up your game in whatever you do in your relationship. Support your man to become a better person. What business is he doing? What is your contributions to the success of it. His career, how are you helping him climb to the top of it? What challenges is he facing in life, what are his fears? What makes him happy? This questions everyday begs for answers by a man.  Don't assume he can go through it all alone. Help him. Offer the little you can for the success of his career, business, help him overcome his fears, make him happy and let him know he will land on a foam if he eventually falls instead of a rock.

Be part of his life don't sit and watch. Sometimes fuel his car if you have the means. Get him something nice no matter how small ladies you can reshape the kitchen of your man, Offer value to his life. Redefine his room, his life and maybe his self worth. Show him you want to be with him and ready to be the woman he has ever dreamed of. The times we are now, is longer time for only demanding, offering of your body and or seeing yourself as doing a man favour by dating them. Reduce the high level of buying clothes, shoes, bags, latest gadgets and channell some this things in preparation for your tomorrow.

Show more commitment this year my dear ladies. No more fakery, too much artificialities, selfishness and “Give me Give me way of life”. Take time out and work on yourselves.  Shun some irrelevant programmes, online celebrity attention seeking, read books on how to improve your relationship instead of watching programmes of the lives of fake people on TV and meaningless hash tags. It's time to face realities.

This past Xmas, a lady came to me complaining of how her boyfriend is showing him attitude because Xmas is approaching so he won't get her gifts. I said what do you plan on getting him this Xmas and what have you gotten him since this year? She said it's the man that's supposed get a woman something. This lady in question works and finds it hard to contribute to the life of her boyfriend but prefers to buy any latest clothes, shoes and bag. The young man has sat to analyze his life from the start of the year and realized that what the said girlfriend has contributed to his life can also be gotten from any girl and has taken his decision.

My dear ladies it's time to take charge of your relationship, pray and wish for the best. I wish you the best in your relationship and wish to attend your wedding.

COACHES THAT HAVE WON THE AWCON TITLE WITH THE SUPER FALCONS OF NIGERIA.

It's no longer news that the super Falcons of Nigeria has been crowned African women champions for the 9th time since the inception of the African women championship. But many times, successful teams are celebrated with little acknowledgement of the coach even when such coaches are quickly blamed when the team performs woefully.  Since their first conquest of the African continent in 1998, here are coaches that have won the AWC with the Nigerian team.

1998, Ismaila Mabo
Mabo won the Then African Women Championship with the Super Falcons of Nigeria in a tournament that was hosted in Nigeria in 1998. He guided them till their victory over the Black Queens of Ghana.

                                              Ismaila Mabo
2000, Ismaila Mabo.
Again Mabo was in charge in 2000 when Nigeria ruled Africa. The competition was held in South Africa and Nigeria won by 2:0 before trouble started. Fans threw stones and bottle water and other objects into the stadium after Nigeria's second goal. was never completed in the history of the competition as it was stopped with 28 minutes left to play. Mabo is the most successful Super Falcons coach as he guided Nigeria to two African titles and reaching the quarter finals of the World Cup in 1999.

                                               Ismaila Mabo
2002, Samuel Okpodu
In 2002, the former Bendel Insurance attacker was drafted to tinker the team. He won the AWC title that was hosted in Nigeria beatin
beating the Black Queens of Ghana 2:0 at the Warri Township Stadium. But Okpodu and his girls failed to put up a good showing at the 2003 Fifa Womens World Cup.

                                           Samuel Okpodu.

2004, Godwin Izilien
Coach Godwin Izilien led the team to their fourth AWC title in Johannesburg, South Africa. Izilien and his players fought and won the battle, beating the Lionesses of Cameroun 5-0 in the final with Perpetua Nkwocha accounting for four goals plus a late strike from pocket dynamite, Vera Okolo. Sad enough, it was later discovered that Izilien and his coaching staff were owed backlog of salaries.
                                  Godwin Izilien

2006, Ntiero Effiom
Effiom Ntiero of blessed memory led the the Super Falcons of Nigeria to their fifth straight AWC that was hosted in Nigeria. The Akwa Ibom gaffer saw Nigeria defeat Ghana 1:0 at the Warri Township Stadium to clinch the title. 25,000 people watched the match, which was described by the BBC as "a drab encounter". Both teams qualified for the 2007 FIFA Women's World Cup in China which he also guided them to. Ntiero died on November 11 2014,at the age of 59.

                Ntiero Effiom

2010, Eucharia Uche
After a not good performance at the 2008 edition of AWC, Eucheria Uche was appointed the coach of the Super Falcons and guided the team to victory in South Africa. Nigeria defeated Equatorial Guinea by 5:2  at the Sinaba Stadium, Daveyton. She was Nigeria's first female coach for the Super Falcons who won the AWC as a player and a coach. She qualified Nigeria to the 2011 FIFA Women's World Cup, in which she made a remark that homosexuality a "dirty issue" and "spiritually wrong". A statement she was thoroughly cautioned of by Fifa.

                              Eucheria Uche
2014, Edwin Okon
Coach Edwin Okon who led the Falconets to the semi finals of the Fifa U20 World Cup was appointed coach of the Super Falcons after the sack of Eucheria and he guided the team to win the 2014 AWC in Namibia. Nigeria defeated Cameroun 2:0 at the Sam Nujoma Stadium, Windhoek, Namibia to lift the trophy. Okon later led the Super Falcons to the 2015 World Cup in Canada where they crashed out in the first round.

                                            Edwin Okon

2016, Florence Omagbemi
Florence Omagbemi a former Super Falcons international was drafted to tinker the team after the abysmal performance of the team at the 2015 Fifa Womens World Cup in China. Florence Omagbemi guided the team to their 8th African Women Cup of Nations (AWCON) as it was renamed by CAF. Nigeria again, defeated the Lionesses of Cameroun 0:1 in front of their crowd at the Stade Ahmadou Ahidjo, Yaoundé.

                             Florence Omagbemi

2018, Thomas Dennerby
After the Unceremonious dismissal of Florence Omagbemi and her coaching crew, The NFF appointed Swedish coach Thomas Dennerby to lead the Super Falcons. The Swede who has coached the Swedish national team and led them to a third place finish at the 2011 FIFA Women’s World Cup. Dennerby recently guided the Super Falcons to their 9th AWCON title in Ghana where they edged South Africa 4:3 on penalties at the Accra Sports Stadium, Accra. Thomas Dennerby baring any issues, will lead the team to the 2019 Fifa Womens World Cup in France.

                                    Thomas Dennerby
We wish the Falcons good luck in 2019 Fifa Womens World Cup in France and we call for early and proper preparation to surpass the Quarter final they earned in 1999.

BUHARI SHOULD CONTEST IN 2019 BECAUSE OF OBASANJO’S LETTER

BUHARI SHOULD CONTEST IN 2019 BECAUSE OF OBASANJO’S LETTER.
Yesterday I read a letter by former President Olusegun Obasanjo. Normally those days whenever I see headlines, I don't bother reading cos I already know what is contained in it. But I decided to read from start to finish simply because it's coming from former Obasanjo and to pen down the points raised in the letter. But I have a digression from his opinion? Have anyone noticed that Obasanjo always appears to be a hero in all of his letters and opinions? One would think that when Obasanjo supervised the affairs of Nigeria, all was Uhuru but it's wasn't so because no sector can be said to be perfect of near perfect after he left office.

This is not the first time Obasanjo would want to play God or even see himself as the father of Nigeria. It was this same Obasanjo that came to Rivers State and declared a free and fair PDP governorship Primary as having K-leg. Denying the authentic winner his right and gave it to someone else. This same Obasanjo started a third term Agenda trying to mock our Constitution by changing it to suit him to run for an undemocratic third term. Obasanjo who was later disgraced because the Senate then, called his bluff. After then, decided he was God, attacked anyone with Presidential ambition with the Efcc and later foisted A sick Yar’Adua on us.

Obasanjo later in his book criticized Yar’Adua. Exonerating himself from any wrong doing and blamed Yar’Adua for what he termed not being truthful with his health. If Yar’Adua was to be alive to complete his tenure, am sure Obasanjo would have written him a letter asking him not to recontest sighting his illnes and other things only known to him. The death of Yar’Adua ushered a new President from the Niger-Delta extraction in the person of Goodluck Jonathan. Obasanjo went to almost every campaign with Jonathan in 2011 telling us he was the best thing after slice bread. Jonathan became the President and towards the end of his tenure, he, just like yesterday wrote an open letter to him accusing him of anything he wishes.

Obasanjo’s attitude of trying to exonerate himself as one of those who has put this nation in our present mess is the height of hypocrisy. During Obasanjo’s tenure, what worked? Is it the continuous bickering between himself ND his Vice President Alhaji Atiku Abubakar or the constant awarding of contracts that never saw the light of the day. Obasanjo sunk billions of dollars for power generation but nothing was shown for it. Today, the present government generates 7,000 Megawatts of which Obasanjo could not. The East West road was awarded almost three times and the culprit in that corrupt act was accommodated in Aso Rock. If Obasanjo has done what was expected of him, other Presidents after him, would have concentrated on other areas, borrow from his quality leadership, consolidate on his legacy and Nigeria won't be in this mess it is today. Lagos is a model. For Godsake Obasanjo is part of the old thieving politicians that has kept this nation where we are.

President Mohammad Buhari has his shortcomings but it is not in the place of someone like Obasanjo to tell him not to contest. Does Obasanjo understand what democracy entails? Oh I forgot it's in his nature to subvert people's wish and force candidates on them. If President Muhammad Buhari has no intentions of contesting for president come 2019, he should start nursing such ambition. It is his right, and civic obligation. If not for anything for future President because Obasanjo won't stop with him. In that letter he talked of a new movement of which he will be part of. The message Obasanjo is sending is clear. “I want to always be part of those who make Presidents in Nigeria until I die. Mr President you are a general just like Obasanjo and I know you won't allow him push you around. If I were you Mr. President, I will not dignify him with a response. He completed 8 years of Presidency with nothing to show for other than embezzling our common wealth but today, he is writing open letters to insult our collective reasonings.
Mr President, CONTEST in 2019.

ARREST OF KEMI OLUNLOYE AND THE HYPOCRISY OF NIGERIAN CHRISTIANS

Justice is no longer justice if it is one sided - Princewill Chimereze.

Kemi Olunloye a self acclaimed investigative journalist, is not the best of characters in Nigeria. In fact she is not the kind of role model any mother would want her daughter to emulate. But no matter the characters of a person, their human right remains sacrosanct and at all times must be upheld in accordance with the law.

Nigerians woke up to news of the arrest of Kemi Olunloye by a clergyman in Portharcourt and since then, she has been in and out of police custody without any trial. I am one of those who was particularly happy she was arrested if for nothing, to see how authentic her stories are and the veracity of her claims as an investigative journalist but apparently from the look of things, she is just an online troll who probably derives joy being in the news and who can't do without attention seeking and gossip as with most Nigerians online.

But my anger about her arrest and detention, is the blind eye that has greeted her arrest by online warlords, ethnic bigots, religious bigots, those who see political every colouration to issues, hash tag creators hypocritical Christians and Nigerian youths at large. It took Nigerians weeks after her arrest to create an online hash tag that gathered less retweets like an insignificant story. There was no protest on the violation of the rights of Kemi Olunloye by fellow Christians and which was masterminded by supposed Christian man of God who will be hosting a five nights crusade later this month. One wonders what he will preach to his congregations of which one of the principles of the religion he practices and leads a herd, is forgiveness.

Kemi Olunloye’s case, shows a clear hypocrisy of Nigerian Christians. Imagine Kemi was arrested by a Muslim or an Islamic clergyman, within few minutes of her arrest, hash tags would be created. Such hypocritical hash tags would read; #Freekemi, #WeSayNoToIslamization, #IslamIsEvil, #KemiIsAChristian, #KemiIsTheVoiceOfChristians. This hash tags would be retweeted by those who are chronic mischief makers and politicians who want to score political points and play on the gullibility of the people. Aside this, the debate will be online with many half schooled, half baked or sheer illiterates seeing it as a gang up against Christianity all in a bid to score cheap religious points. In fact a hurriedly organized group will spring up demanding within 3 days the release of Kemi Olunloye.

The story will metamorphose into national discuss, radio stations, TV stations and the print media will use them as opinion polls. Nigerians will phone in and condemn in totality the arrest of the lady whether she is guilty or not. A clear example is how this same shameful set of people started a hash tag for notorious armed robber Evans. Only that those whose conscience are still intact suppressed it. But it was a clear pointer to the argument of the writer. Another example of such hypocrisy is the violence that greeted Rivers State and Benue State at almost the same time. But online users, mischief makers and characters portrayed by this writer chose that of Benue to cry on and saw that of Rivers state a mere exercise of who kills more. To this set of religious “olodos” the Benue killings is an attempt to wipe out Christian communities in the North and that of Rivers state is a “We-we” something and deserves less condemnation. One wonders if there's any statistics showing the religion of those killed in Benue attacks.

Christians must rise above hypocrisy and emotional blackmail. It makes every argument suspicious and skewed and sometimes makes the desired result of a particular agitation elusive and be seen as mere wailing. This nation must grow above religious colouration of issues and helping politicians to politicize serious national issues for their own gain.

BUHARI’S HEALTH: THE GREATEST MIRACLE OF 2017 IN NIGERIA

The president’s illnes in 2017 was a disgraceful exposure of our immaturity democratically.  The norm in advanced societies as to similar experiences is that the populace prays and wish the number one citizen quick recovery and ask without bias the true state of the health of the president no matter their political leaning. But our case was different. As soon as the president was flown out of the country for medical treatment, political undertones traveled with him. Many haters who are mostly among the injured in 2015 general elections of which they couldn't till this moment comprehend how they were buldozered out of powered predicted he won't return alive. To them God has answered their prayers of asking him to kill the president. (I wonder when God has become so jobless as to welcome prayers of death wishes to a man whose only crime was winning an election.

Among the bandwagon of death wishers were some pastors who have been rightly described as conmen by Charle Boy. They showed they serve a different god with their noise they spewed prophesies of how the president will die in a hospital. How God has declared darkness among the rulers. I almost fought a pastor who declared a prayer point that anyone who has caused suffering to Nigerians to die in London hospital. But I realized some people are fortunate they have “sheeples. It is on record that Nigerian pastors especially the notable ones who are threatened by the messages of Daddy Freeze on tithing never organized any prayer summit for the president’s quick recovery or even a prayer for restoration of sound health to the president. Oh I forgot it won't profit them. For it won't be a tithe paying event or seed sowing exercise.

There were different political scheming from every quarter, many began to add shameful colours to their selfish ambition. Some party faithfuls began to see themselves as replacement. “The clown of the Federal Republic made his comedies more entertaining. He claimed to have 11 pictures of the president on life support. He even chose a new name for himself should incase the president returns. He requested to go by the name “Bastard and swore the president will never make it alive. His counterpart in political comedy, lennded his voice called the president gollum and assured a teeming online automated mumus that the President is already in the other side of existence and they cheered like the mumu they are without demanding evidence. Some online mumus and jobless trolls console themselves that the president has died and is buried in Saudi Arabia.

The hatred continued. A Jewish religion promoter who was chased by a dancing Python. Swore the president won't make it alive. He will gather a once productive youth from a section of the country and brainwash them with lies that our little brothers in basic classes will ordinarily not believe and they will chorus his name as a prophet. (Prophet wey ordinary Python pursue that one na prophet?). His worrisome noise grew louder and became a united voice with the clowns of the Federal republic.

Amidst all this, there were silent prayers among patriotic Nigerians. There were those who offered silent prayers for God’s intervention on the health of the Mr. President. There were those who constantly begged God for mercy on the president for we all have sinned. Those who engaged in fasting and prayers just for the president to be healed. This list included me. I will sometimes plead with God not to make Aisha Buhari a widow. I would pray sometimes with tears in my eyes. The president doesn't know me but I understand the burden of leadership and the kind of word of God I was exposed to as a kid. Not the present day “let my enemies die contradiction of the word of God. I understand the pains of losing someone so dear and that the President is someone's father of which no one wishes their father dead.

The president’s wife made an emergency trip to London to see her husband. Naysayers said yes! This has finally confirmed their allegations. But she came back and likened her husband's imminent return to that of a lion King. My heart was elated but my joy was still not full and so also the joy of many Nigerians. The President started receiving visitors but well meaning Nigerians kept praying. On that fateful day, presidential spokesman Femi Adeshina informed that the president will be back from his medical trip abroad. My heart lifted in joy. I kept my eyes on the social media. I would refresh different social media platforms. A social media user in a particular forum was tracking the flight that the president was on board and I joined him till the end of it. There were crowds already waiting on the streets of Abuja just to get a glimpse of even the car that would transport the president to the villa.

Within minutes, videos of the president alighting from the presidential jet began to surface. The first one I saw almost made my tablet fall from my hand. I was shouting with joy “Yes the King is back!!! The cat with nine live is back!! The boss of all bosses is here!!  My neighbors gathered wondering why I was shouting. I showed them shocking videos of the arrival of the president and the look on their face betrayed them. Some couldn't believe he made it alive. If I get the opportunity to meet the president, I will take personal pictures with him just to remind myself of the limitless powers of God. My fellow country men do not becloud yourselves with sentiments the president’s miraculous healing should be used as a pointer to request from God sound healing for any members of our family who needs God's touch. That the President is not a member of your church doesn't make his healings less of a miracle or because your pastor did not prophesy it then you won't see the hand of God in it.

Apart from the medical prowess of the doctors that handled the health issues of the president, this is a clear example of the workings of God. A clear Miracle. For we have had richer people who could afford more than the treatment the president got but couldn't live to recount the ordeal. But in Aso Rock stands a man who defied death, death wishes and all manner of evil from enemies and you think the hand of God is not in it? I waited this long to confirm the promises of God of making his health whole.
This is the greatest miracle of 2017 in Nigeria.

NOW THAT WE 'VE KNOWN THE ORGANIZERS OF THE PROTEST, IS IT WORTH YOUR TIME?

NOW THAT WE 'VE KNOWN THE ORGANIZERS OF THE PROTEST,  IS IT WORTH YOUR TIME?

It's more profitable to understand, scrutinize and evaluate what ever one plan venturing into. Days ago, I wrote an article about the upcoming protest planned on the 5th of February 2017. In that mind pricking article, (found here http://enlightennigeria.blogspot.com/2017/01/the-planned-nationwide-protest-who-are.html) I asked and sought to know the organizers of the planned protest, what is going to be protested for and the modus operandi of such nationwide protest. As expected, the organizers have come out of hiding. They are "The wailing wailers Ng with the twitter handle, (@NGRWailers. And they have tagged the protest #Buharimustgo#

Since we have known the organizers, the next thing is a scrutiny and proper background check on the integrity,  dignity, antecedents and patriotic attitude of such organization before anyone should give them listening ear let alone allowing oneself to be involved with them. This is because we might be helping some enemies of Nigeria achieve their evil aims. The wailing wailers Ng is group known to support corruption and still suffers from the 2015 elections loss. They are largely PDP apologists, have never believed in this present Government and does not wish it well. The group, mostly active online, are products of pomp and pageantry from the last administration. They are youths who benefited from the wastage of the last administration. They are pained by the lack of hand outs and sharing of money that they no longer see or partake in. A notable voice, in the group is one Deji Adeyanju who fought last year in a club and peddled the false story of Former President Goodluck Jonathan being invited for US President Trump's inauguration and Buhari was not.

The wailing wailers like every corrupt and opportunist group, are always available for the highest bidding politician and will do the bidding of any politician with the biggest pot of porridge. Is this the kind of organisation,  people, or group that you should waste your time protesting with?  Many will ask what's your own in all these? My answer is NOTHING. Am not a politician, have never benefited from any government, I just don't like people cashing in on the emotions of the people to cause mayhem, heat up the polity and fill up their own pockets. A genuine protest, borne out of critical reawakening to demand outright overhaul of the Nigerian Political system, slash of the NASS allowances and salaries, speedy trial, making public offices let's attractive etc. I would be at the forefront. But not one that is headless and sponsored by power hungry politicians. The protest as we learnt would be joined by tuface and there also rumours of a former Akwa Ibom State governor sponsoring him for the protest. I don't want to believe such rumors but the below revelation begs for more answers. " Mr. Akpabio announced a gift of two brand new Toyota Prado SUVs to 2face and his wife. He also reportedly promised to bankroll an all-expense paid trip for 29 delegates from the state to attend the white wedding of the couple fixed for Dubai, the United Arab Emirates on March 23, 2016".

In the days ahead, more revelations will come out as to the real reasons and sponsors of the directionless protest.

Nigerians, we understand that things are hard, there is hunger in the land but we must ask what caused it and what steps are being taken to ameliorate the effects it, and support the government in any way we can so we become a better nation. Our biggest problem, is that we never saved for the rainy day.

Do not waste your little energy that you will use for profitable ventures in this hard time. These people bringing you out just want to fulfil job they've been paid for they are not hungry.
The pictures below are some of their fake news, and some of their tweets. You can also google @Ngrwailers for more of their tweets and wailersNg.com which is their website.

THE PLANNED NATIONWIDE PROTEST, WHO ARE THE CONVENERS?

PLANNED NATIONWIDE PROTEST, WHO ARE THE CONVENERS?

I saw a message of a nationwide protest against the federal government and the current economic downturn in the country. I tried to read through the reasons for the protest and I got confused the more. I am one person who has always advocated for a total overhaul of our political system, institutions of goverment and agencies. I 've even advocated for us to vote people with credible antecedents and integrity into political office.

But in life we must question whatever we do as a people. The planned protest on the 5th of February 2017, who are the conveners of it? What is the modus operandi? What has prompted it? Who are the sponsors and what exactly are we protesting for or against? This must be spelt out to avoid it been hijacked by politicians, hoodlums and even the current secessionist criers.  What are the things that should be demanded by the would be protesters? Regime change? Slashing of National Assembly members allowances and salaries? Slashing of all Government officials salaries? Speedy expedition of court cases? Putting a stop to unecessary politicking, halt of the current self sustenance policies? Or what exactly? I read from the article of the said protest that why has  kerosene gone from #50 to #400. And one would ask,  when was kerosene #50 per litre in Nigeria? What is the level of grasp of economic political and socio-economic situation by those behind the protest or is this another case of some group of people deceived by politicians to further heat up the already flaming polity and further frustrate Nigerians. Or another case of some youths who sat down in their room to formulate anything and broadcast it without any meaningful reasons behind it. Like the bathe with salt to cure Ebola years ago.

I learnt legendary musicians like 2face, has indicated interest in the protest but  further comments from him reveals that he is not the convener but just retweeted the message. Those behind the protest must be bold to come out and brief the people about the upcoming protest and give it credibility. If not Nigerians should be weary of those who are only thinking of their pocket and need to fulfil their pledge to their sponsors. Nigerians mind what you Protest against or for.

AN OPEN LETTER TO MRS AISHA BUHARI ON THE BBC INTERVIEW

AN OPEN LETTER TO MRS. AISHA BUHARI
WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU HAVE DONE?

Ma, with due respect, what was the meaning of that interview with the BBC Hausa? I listened with shock the interview you granted with BBC Hausa on issues bordering on the Nigerian political Landscape and the Change Government of your husband, President Muhammadu Buhari. I was shocked not because of your incoherent speech or your poor command of English language like the former First Lady Patience Jonathan but because of your utterances in that interview.

Ma, What do you think you have done? You went on air to say things that you shouldn't have said? To achieve what? Are you planning on contesting any political position in 2019? Many first ladies all over the world offer support and help to their husband even in the most difficult times and not to come the public to demoralize him. To what end? During the illness of the late President Yar'Adua, the wife Turai Yar'Adua never came out to publicly tell the world that her husband is sick and that if he continues to be sick,  she would abandon everything and allow other people grab power. It was reported in different quarters that Turai called the shots while the husband was sick and away.  During the trial of the then President of the United States of America, Bill Clinton, The wife,  who is now a Presidential candidate was very tactful in speaking to the press. She never ridiculed her husband even when it  was proven that he actually had an affair with White House intern Monica Lewinsky. Oh! Ma,  What do you think you have done? During the recent trial of Senate President Bukola Saraki, did you hear anywhere where Toyin Saraki the wife came out publicly to say that if the husband doesn't come out clean about his dealings on false Declaration of Assets she will stop supporting him? Recently, Yakubu Dogara, the current Speaker of the house of Representatives, was accused of budget padding alongside other members of the house. Did you by chance even in gossip hear that the wife was quoted as saying she would stop supporting the husband if does not come out clean on the issue? Ma, I can go on and on to give you vital examples of women who were before you in same position and kept their cool, worked with carefulnes knowing the kind of society we are in.

What do you think you have done? What came over you? How did you lose it? You could have declined invitation to that interview or was it by force? Today some opposition elements are cashing on that interview and the President's comic response to jump around like they 've won an election. Ma, are you happy about this? Have you seen the ridicule online brought about by this? Imagine Oluremi Tinubu making this kind of Uterrances or Dolapo Osibanjo. Ma, I must remind you that if not for Buhari, we wouldn't have known you. Before you became a first lady, which is just a nomenclature, you were first a wife, a mother and your husband's better half. Have you forgotten all these in just over one year of being in Aso Rock villa? Have you forgotten that after the tenure of your husband, you will return back to Daura with him? And that no one will care where you are? Even this type of interviews you won't get them anymore or when last did you read or hear from Turai Yar'Adua? Whatever borders your heart about the situations of the country, you could have talked to your husband about it at home and remember the Islamic laws guiding marriages no matter your position. Or have you suddenly become secular just cos of power? In that ill conceived interview, you said you don't know 45 out of the 50 appointment made by your husband. Like seriously are you supposed to know? Are you a politician? You want to influence the appointments? Or you are not happy the President on assumption of office scrapped the office of the first lady unlike previous administration?

Hope you know the implications of what you have done? Those hailing you today will abandon you when the time comes. Just wear the next expensive jewelry or carry an expensive bag and see those hailing you still question your source of income and accuse you and your family of being corrupt. And in many of these accusations of your expensive lifestyle, did you hear the President utter a word? Forget the nonsense going on now, where everyone is now kissing their wife and claiming what is not, (So they needed a misunderstanding in Someone's family issue to show off their wife?) many men  wouldn't be happy if their wife goes to the media to say what they shouldn't have. Ma, you no try for that interview. And please retrace your step.

DSS RAID ON CORRUPT JUDGES AND WHAT IS DEMOCRACY

DSS RAID ON CORRUPT JUDGES AND WHAT IS DEMOCRACY

--Corrupt  judges are the worst set of people  is killing our democracy-- Princewill Chimereze.

On Saturday 8th October, 2016 the DSS raided the home of some high profile judges in Nigeria. The Said raid has generated irrational outcry by some group and some section of the country. Nigeria’s opposition party the PDP has termed it a "descent into fascism". Some has said our democracy is in danger, others termed it rape of our democracy. When you listen to some of these cries even from those who know nothing about democracy but just decide to foam through the nose because others are doing same, you would be forced to really ask what is democracy and who is killing it? According to wikitionary.org Democracy is the Belief in political freedom and equality; the "spirit of democracy". That's for dictionary meaning. To those who has opposed the raid by Nigeria's State security outfit, to them democracy is upholding the tenets of law and doing things the right way.

It's very funny to see a people choose what is democratic or what is not detrimental to our young democracy. Who really is putting our democracy in danger? A judge who subverts the will of the people and does the bidding of the highest paying politician? A judge who sends a petty thief to long term imprisonment but commits bigger crime and gets away with it? A judge who collects bribe to continuously give conflicting judgement on issues?
To the our democracy is in danger shouting irrational beings,  A politician who rigged election, perpetrated all kinds of violence against his opponent and the people in order to win election is not putting our democracy in danger. He is upholding it. Its even more amusing that a governor was stopping the arrest of a judge. In a democracy? What concerns a governor with the arrest of a judge? How did he get to know? It might interest anyone to know that this same raid was carried out in over five State of the Federation and you begin to wonder where was the governor of those other state? And why did they not also try to stop DSS? A rational answer would help all of us.

As if such nonsense is not insulting to our collective common sense and endangering our young democracy, An electoral case would be brought before a court, the said electoral matter would be glaring even to the blind that it was badly flawed  and Judges would uphold such elections. And those shouting democracy now kept quiet. A politician would loot the treasury of the nation without conscience and care for democracy. When such politician is brought to court,  he bribes his way out of the issue and walks free. He has been given a pat on the back for looting and even encouraging potential looters that we 've got your back go ahead and steal as you like. What kills democracy faster than judgements encouraging looting.

The same noise makers about the recent DSS raid on corrupt judges are the ones who will be the first to scream economy is in recession, things are hard, prices of foodstuffs has skyrocketed. But fail to understand that When these corrupt judges collect bribes, they also contribute to the downfall of the economy and what  should have benefited the common man would be shared among selected few. Is that democracy? A politician steals over a $100 million and bribes a Judge with $2 million from the said loot gets a clean judgement of doing no wrong and he walks freely is that upholding democratic tenets? Or is democracy under siege when some people choose to see it so?

During Election, State security apparatus were unleashed on opposition, some military men were arm banded to carry out shady deals in order to win election for friends and party members in the last dispensation. Where were the today crying "our democracy is in danger illiterates? Money was earmarked for procurement of arms to fight insurgency in the Northeast and same was shared by those whom the present day shouters of our democracy is in danger supported. Then democracy had seen the light  but when those people are called upon to come and answer to their atrocities democracy is being killed. How?

To this same "democracy illiterates" When A sitting governor was denied entrance to the government house of his state, it was democracy in action. When DSS raided the office of an opposition party and carted away with their belongings it was democracy in action. When the security details of a Speaker of House of Representatives was withdrawn democracy was breathing fine. The most surprising thing about all these corruption defending is that it's championed by downtrodden youths who might not get their desire to lead the nation due to the manner and way the politicians go about politics in Nigeria. How would you win election with the level of violence, ballot box snatching and rigging that has been mastered by this politicians and when such cases get to court, they are even upheld.

"Nigerian Youths what is your gain in defending corruption or supporting those accused of corruption?

This is a call to the DSS to carry out more of this type of raid on anyone no matter how highly or lowly placed the person is. Be more probing, go further, crush things and make sure Nigeria is purged of corruption. Patriotic Nigerians are behind you. I must State categorically that corrupt judges are the worst set of people  is killing our democracy.

I would like to end this piece with a quote from a well respected legal luminary Mohammed Uwais. “A corrupt judge is more harmful to the society than a man who runs amok with a dagger in a
crowded street. The latter can be restrained physically. But a corrupt judge deliberately destroys the moral foundation of society and causes incalculable distress to individuals through abusing his office while still being
referred to as honourable"

To those who still have the ability to recollect their senses and move on from elections loss which was inevitable,  and has be clouded their sense of judgment, I hope a corrupt judge would not handle your case and deny you justice.
