WHY CAN'T WE ACT WITH SANITY IN THIS COUNTRY?

Why can't we act with sanity in this country? Must we all behave like motor park touts? I get really pained when I see what is not suppose to still be happening in our growing democracy, happening at this time.

First one guy loses election. By virtue of that, you are an opposition. Few months after losing an election that you never came third or fourth, you started shouting "Revolution". What do you expect? Must you heat up the polity? Why not make your reservations about a government known through proper channels as a learned man and within ambient of peaceful agitation?
Now you are arrested (which was inevitable) because no where in the world that you will want to overthrow a democratically elected government and they fold their arms, watching you carry out the threat.

Now, you are arrested and detained. If we must be sincere, in our volatile democracy and political terrain, you are a threat to national peace and stability and detaining you for a while might be needed. (forget the noise by some people, only a very few will tolerate someone going against their government).

Courts ordered for his release. He wasn't released. An action that should not have been taken by the security agents, but you never can tell their reasons and it's implications for national security, that made them take such action. (If you are close to a government or have held leadership position, you will understand there are some cases that make governments behave the way they do).

Finally he was released. Then rerarrested 24 hours later.  I believe the security agents have their reasons, but must he be rerarrested with this speed? Why can't we do the right thing? Why can't we just go about our lives in peace? Why can't the politicians just play by the rules? Why can't the citizens stand up against erring politicians no matter their political divide? Why can't the people understand that they suffer most in all these?
Why? Why? Why?
