OPEN LETTER TO PRESIDENT MUHAMMADU BUHARI ON HIS RECENT APPOINTMENTS

MANY OF US ARE NOT HAPPY

Mr. President, i will be very straight and blunt. Your recent appointments have caused uproar in every part of Nigeria. I am not against your appointments neither am I in doubt of your resolve for a better Nigeria but you must run an all inclusive government that will not portray you as an ethnic bigot as many believe.

During the electioneering campaign, i quietly supported you and many times engage people on your agenda for the country and the need to have a man like you steering the ship of Nigeria. I was re-christined 'Buhari' 'Sai Baba' and other names that showed me as a Buharist.  Mr. President it was not an easy road to take. I was called a traitor cos i come from the south south. Many really had nothing incriminating against you or accusation of corruption against you, they only centered it on the reason that you are an ethnic and religious bigot.

I could remember when Jega was announcing the result, then, i was in one of the South Eastern State and after you were declared winner and i said 'YES CHANGE IS HERE' , one guy nearly attacked me. He called me names and asked me to keep quiet or else he will injure me. I just left the scene quietly to avoid trouble this is not with many numerous "abeg leavam" from many onlookers. Mr. President that's how rough the road was supporting you.

After you  assumed office, i still have to always defend every step you take because people have known me as your supporter so any wrong you do, people call for my head or gather to mock me.

Baba, your latest appointments was a joke taken too far. Your party was not aware and they all came from the north. Today many mock us your ardent supporters. 'We no tell you' is the greeting i 've been receiving since today. 'Buhari cannot change' 'Na him people him go favour'

even though you don't want to give the appointments known figures in South south and East, you could have given it to someone else. At least one between Chief of Staff and SGF. Mr. President Who are your advisers? Did you show them the list? Did you consider their opinion? Or you just went ahead and took the decision all by yourself. If the later is what has birthed this recent national outcry, then Mr. President it was not a good one.

I have just been wondering what Ogbonaya Onu, Rochas Okorocha, Chris Ngige, Joe Igbokwe, and other Igbo men who took the risk in supporting you will be going through in the hands of their people. They were called different names yet they believed in this course. Today it is as if they made mistake doing so. The shame, mockery and insult they will receive because of these recent appointments is unimaginable.

Mr. President, we are not happy and we implore you to thread carefully in national dealings as not to fuel tribal crisis or do what will make we your supporters regret giving you  our backing amidst danger. Please seek the input of your party members in further appointments and remember you 'belong to nobody and belong to everybody'.

Buhari Nigerians Still Believe in You

The recent attacks by Boko Haram insurgents have kept many wondering whether their votes casted for CHANGE was waste. While those in the opposition have been rejoicing about some events that has taken place since this administration took over.

Many have been asking for him to name is cabinet and ministers. I understand the background of this as many have over the years come to see Nigerian government as a power sharing platform where everyone comes to the table and take their own share.  But sorry for some of you its no longer business as usual. The last administration, many ministers were just figure heads and the president doesn't want it so.  He will name his cabinet at the appropriate time.

As to what have changed since he took over, recently there are massive recruitment exercise advertised by various institutions in the country. I must confess that through out my stay in the University, lecturing jobs are hardly advertised we only come to school to see a new lecturer. But it's no longer so. Recently, dead institutions are naturally revived. A dormant EFCC now at least arrest people and people are afraid to steal unlike before.

The outcry and criticisms currently noticed are expected but larger chunk of those who have irrationally started this criticism are from the opposition or were those who were shaky in their support of PMB but ended up just voting for him. Those who know and strongly believe in PMB knows that BH are in for the shock of their life. To these ones (me inclusive) their believe can never be shaken. Though, it is disheartening to hear series of bombing lately, but the end is near for BH

We understand President Buhari wants to employ a different approach to tackle this problem, and as such a little time will be taken to perfect plans. Like in any war situation, effective plans wins the war. Like in many American movies the actor is usually beaten but in the end he carries the day. Like the 2015 presidential election, the postponement was a temporary setback but Buhari still won the election.
Bokoharam is currently doing "initial gra gra"  but baba will still win.

How Long Can You Be Faithful While Your Partner is Away

Relationship is about trust and the ability to stay put and be faithful to one another, but there are circumstances that can threaten or make one to find themselves in a tight corner where keeping to faithfulness and trust becomes a challenge.
Chinedu had been dating Ngozi and after his university, he traveled abroad but not with a Promise of coming back to marry Ngozi. At the airport, while crying, Ngozi pleaded with him not to abandon  her when he gets there. Chinedu in turn pleaded with her to be faithful and keep herself till he comes back.

Two years later, Chinedu came back from abroad and they continued to date. They started plans for their marriage ceremony. They both went to visit the lady that will handle their wedding decoration to discuss with her concerning logistics and every other thing involved in decorating the occasion. On getting there, the husband of the lady saddled with the decoration happens to be around too and he knows the man they 've both met before while Chinedu was applying for Visa. After the discussion, as they were about leaving, Chinedu and the decorator's husband were discussing when he asked if that was the lady he wants to get married to? Yes.. He said. Any problem? Isn't she beautiful? No not that, the man replied just that this same lady at sometime usually visit a friend of mine and sometimes spend weeks with him. Are you sure about this? Chinedu asked. Why would i lie? Its ok no problem Chinedu replied.

Chinedu got home, sat on his couch and was so worried. Ngozi came in and asked what the problem was and he said nothing that he is just imagining their wedding day. Early morning the next day, he woke his fiancee. Did you sleep with anybody since i 've been away? He asked. "No why would i do that"? Please don't lie to me. Then what did you go to do at 15. Chidiaown Street and even spent a week there.

By this time she started crying. Please forgive me it was during the the last one month to your coming back. There was this guy that kept pestering me i tried my best in resisting him but it was not easy two years without anyone to make me feel like a woman. Am a human being the urge was too much for me please forgive me my love. Since then i 've called it off with him. How could you? Chinedu asked you promised me you would be faithful why? Why? Since you did not keep to your words this marriage is canceled.

Ladies, what is your take on this? How long can you be faithful when your partner is not around?

ETERNAL LOVE

Baby my LOVE is not like the Hamattan
That comes  at a particular season
It is not like the Moon that appears and goes back
It is not like the Sun and the Rain that have their particular time and season

My LOVE is not like a Computer that catches virus
Neither is it like a Phone that fades and gets spoilt one day
It is not like Christmas that comes once in a year
Neither is it like the Val day, Birthday and other days that come once annually

But it's like the Oceans that never gets dry
It's like the River that flows forever
It's like the Air we breathe
Above all it is LOVE itself that last for eternity

To My Unseen Love

In my heart is your home
And daily I do clean this home
Recently, this home has a new foam
I have wondered when I will see you in this home

My search for you is like Abubaker  Shekau
And my heart, soul and spirit wants u anyhow
I  know I can't afford a Ram or a Cow
But I Promise to kill a fowl

Come and end this loneliness
Come and fill this emptiness
I want to  feel your great loveliness
I will continue  to search for you my beautiful Princess

Saraki Emergence, is Buhari's CHANGE Under Threat?

What Happened yesterday at National Assembly was shocking. Yesterday, the Nation looked gloom, not many noticed this, what happened yesterday was not just ordinary, there were those even in APC that clearly orchestrated this. The President called a meeting, Bukola Saraki aware of the meeting, went ahead with his personal ambition and ignored who ever does not in anyway support his desperate ambition. I have nothing against Dogara as its clear the House of Representatives wanted him.

In all these, who has truly lost? Many Nigerians don't know what awaits them hence their joint jubilation with the PDP in celebrating what might be a stumbling block to our needed Change. To many of them this is about Tinubu and as such whether its against the interest of the country, so long as it does not favour Tinubu, no problem. But they forget the Saraki dynasty is no different.

The drama that was played at the National Assembly Yesterday was one that can best be described as the hand writing and will of the known ''Cabals'' what then has Nigerians gained from this? Should we celebrate what was cooked by Atiku, Saraki, Akpabio, and the rest? Nigerians should be in reflective mood and not celebrate because their expected change might have gotten a heavy road block.

Do Nigerians expect a bill that will check corrupt practices of people who were involved in this gang-up to scale through in the senate?
A mole might have been planted to scuttle our needed change. Will this house allow law to take its cause when the law enforcement agencies come calling on people like Buruj Kashamu and T.A Orji who were part of what many are ignorantly celebrating today.

Why do you think the PDP who did everything to stop us from experiencing this change are now so happy? Have they also embraced change?
The days ahead will tell but am so scared deep inside me.

We are still waiting for Ben Bruce to tell us his own part of the story of what truly transpired d at the house yesterday or was he also part of the gang up? He has been tweeting and writing so we expect  to hear from him soon if truly he claims to be different.

Have Women of Today Lost Their Usefulness?

Marriage, in God's own intent, was for a complimentary and supportive reasons. Whether such reasons have formed the basis for people getting married is a discuss that should be critically looked at.
One of my Uncle who travelled abroad came back to search for a wife after which he took her to settle back in Lagos. He had already planned his marriage right from the onset that he will make-do with four children no matter their gender. Eight years into the marriage they are already done with child bearing.

Both of us were discussing recently and he brought the issue of his marriage. He told me he is tired of marriage but was not considering divorce. I enquired why he  has suddenly gotten tired of his marriage? He told me he sees no reason for marriage other than to make babies. That he has gained nothing special from the wife since he got married to her other than her boobs which he can't stop sucking, taking her to functions to intmidate other guys with her beauty and enddowments.

The story of my uncle above, sums up the life of some modern women. A situation whereby a young guy struggles through school, or whatever he choses to do, sometimes, no lady will accept him because he has nothing or give him support to get to where he is going. He graduates from school, eventually gets a job, grows his career/profession/business and decides to settle down.

He gets married to a woman who had no form of contribution to height he has reached in life, she come into his house start making babies for him, satisfy his sexual urge, cook, take care of the babies and thats it. When the kids grow up and can cater for themselves what next for her in the marriage. When challenges come, maybe at workplace, family or everyday normal challenges, some guys think outside the box and solve their own problem without any meaningful contribution from the wife. That is the emotional support which is another reason why theres marriage but some guys hadly rely on it to continue their life. Financially, some men have designed themselves in a way that the income of their spouse don't count in the marriage(that's when they work).

Many guys have argued that some of the reasons for marriage can be gotten outside even without a wedlock, you can bear children with a lady, fund her to take care of them, get a cook, and even have chance of banging different big backside if you so wish so what then is the need for marriage?

From this foregoing, women should start moulding themselves into relevant, intelligent and would be supportive wife.  Some women should stop waiting for a man to come out of the blues to come and marry them. When a man comes to you for marriage, get to know him better before you say i do that way you can find creative ways of being supportive to him throughout your marriage journey.

Women should not only focus on their own career before their husband comes along or engage in fashionist or fashionmonger way of life but carefully draw a plan of how their family would look like, identify with a man who tends or exhibit such traits of a man you would like to spend the rest of your life with and build up a relationship with him that way he won't see you as just another silverware added to his cabinet.

2015 Elections And Concession of Defeat

The 2015election has come and gone, but its drama will continue to be issues of discuss on almost every given opportunity. One of such talking point, was the concession of defeat by Former President, Goodluck Jonathan. Many hailed this action and praised him for his rare show of sportsmanship. Some Governorship candidates did the same thing when they also lost, notably, Jimi Agbaje of Lagos State.

Nigerians in their usual abuse of anything, has come down hard on those who lost but did not concede defeat. Most of those who are forcing other candidates to concede defeat are from the PDP. Nigerians must understand that democracy has many doors to power and that is why someone like Chibuike Amaechi former governor of Rivers State got his power from the courts. It is the right of the individual who feel pained in any election to seek redress in court or whatever available means that is backed by constitution.

President Jonathan had every right to challenge the outcome of the 2015 general elections. This will not stop his handover but just to challenge any reason he feels was not constitutionally in his favour that led to his loss. Ordinarily it will be a waste of time to have challenged the 2015 Presidential election because even with the massive Rigging that characterised the election in the South-South and South-East he still lost. Many will argue on child voters in the north but clearly there were child voters in 2011 when the president won and why is it that no one cried foul that time but decide to do so now?

Those who are calling for governors in different States to concede defeat even in the face of glaring irregularities are enemies of our young Democracy.
A situation whereby lives were lost unnecessarily because someone wants to become a Governor by all means is unacceptable and its outcome must be challenged in the courts. It is morally wrong to ask an opponent to concede defeat when it was obvious the other candidate had an undue advantage prior and during the election. A situation whereby the number of  votes cast exceeded the number of accredited/registered voters and people are calling on the candidate to concede defeat is not only hypocritic, but its like adding salt to one's injury.

Funny enough, those who are clamouring for these concession of defeat are people who know nothing about good governance and global practices of sound democracy. Many of them are better off dancing "Shoki", smoking their weed, enmeshing themselves in Tonto Dike news  and engaging in fruitless activity than meddling into serious National matters on the social media.

Nigerians must know that that evil should not prevail over good if we truly calim to worship a supreme deity. We should not join those who don't care about our wellbeing but are interested in what comes into their pockets hence, their calling of a cow Daddy because they want to eat meat.

The Sabbath Day; Saturday or Sunday?

The Sabbath day has over the years formed many Christians and religious discuss. Some divide of Christianity have put it forward that there's nothing wrong in Sunday being the sabath day while the other side of the divide said no, its was and should remain Saturday.

Most proponents of the SabbathSabbath day on Saturday, base their arguments on the fact that the Apostles broke bread on the first day of the week, Acts 20:7 that Jesus rose on Easter Sunday and that event really showed that the Sabbath day was on Sunday.

Those who are against Sunday and believe its Saturday, argue that since Sunday is the first day of the week, then Saturday is the undisputed seventh day of the week as commanded in the Bible. They also argued that Jesus worshipped in the Synagogue on Sabbath, Mark 6:2; Luke 4:16.

Nigerian "Runs Girls" Scared of Buhari's Incoming Government

The incoming Government of General Muhammadu Buhari is one that many have been wondering what it will look like and what it will have in stock for them. There are mixed feeling from different quarters as to what will really happen.

Some people are really scared of what becomes of them or their business. One of such people is the "Nigerian Runs Girls". Pls don't mistake this ones for the Association of Nigerian Prostitutes who had earlier before the election endorse and have even congratulated the president elect.

For those who don't know Runs Girls are those girls who offer sexual gratification to men for monetary gain, they have no fixed place where they engage in it as such travel a lot mostly weekends and are mostly found in our Universities.( Princewill, 2015) I had a writting job to do with one of such ladies who invited me to her house to discuss business and on getting there i saw many ladies who are also involved in what she do.

She was cooking, so pleaded with me to wait till she is done. I sat down, was engrossed in my phone,  when i overheard the ladies discussing about the out going and incoming President. I jokingly told them Baba is a good man that he will rule well. They answered, "No be wetin we dey talk be that u no go understand" I decided to keep quiet and just listen to them. Fortunately they were talking about how the incoming Government will affect their "Runs Girl Business" which i call "Semi-Prostitution" From their discussions, I picked out reasons why they think Buhari's Presidency might not boom their business In Aso Rock and Abuja in General. Some of the reasons were:

1. BUHARI HIMSELF: Baba as he is fondly called, is devoted Muslim with a beautiful wife and one who lives his life based on strong principled morals. He has not been  involved in any post marital scandal or extra marital affairs at least to the best of we in the media. Going by this antecedents, Baba might not be interested in any runs girls and this will greatly affect them seriously.

2. LEAN GOVERNMENT: The incoming government plans to run a very lean government and as such there might not be enough money for his ministers and associates to play around with. Runs girls in Nigeria are afraid since this guys wont be opportuned to feed fat like other government, they might not think in the direction of cooling off with some babes. They 've not finished solving their problems with the little they have let alone looking for us they agreed among themselves.

3. THE FEAR OF BUHARI: Even if some of the ministers and associates of Buhari decides to think in the direction of having a good time with one runs girl or more, they might be taken aback by the fear of the perception of the president himself if he notices such thing.
This fear would make many of them not to involve themselves with it and spells danger for their "Market" some of the girls agreed that their guys who are into arranging them for some of this politicians have alerted them that market won't be as before. Because things will change.

4. RECENT ECONOMIC DOWNTURN: It is no longer news that oil prices have gone down all over the world, Naira to dollar exchange rate is like exchanging a cow for a rat. With this bad economic conditions, the incoming government might not spend carelessly and this means less money in the hands of politicians. State Governors, Legislators, Local government Chairmen etc. will find it difficult to do away with some cash for the services of runs girls.

The Nigerian Runs girls are pessimistic about the incoming administration but hopes for a better outing when the Buhari government finally takes over

Friends what do you think about this?

Trivial Signs That Showed Buhari Would Win 2015 Presidential Election

During the 2015 electioneering campaign, there were signs that showed that Buhari would win. This signs were less paid attention to but they were a pointer to what was imminent.
Such signs were;

1. COINAGE OF FEBUHARI; This coinage was not paid for by anyone. It was passionate Nigerians who saw the name Buhari in February and decided to make it a name for Buhari. Even Fayose in one of his advert heaved a sigh of relief that FEBUARI was gone.

2. TWITTER TRENDS; out of love and genuine supports, there were different topics trending on twitter about Buhari. The first one to be so popular was the one started when Buhari came back from London. #Babawhileyouweregone# where Nigerians informed him of happenings since he left the country. There were other ones like #Babawhenyougetthere# and the one after the election, #Ivotedbaba# and #Babanowthatyouarethere# the trend was too much and intimidating that the presidency had to pay for one #GEJwins# which still did not trend like the ones above.

3. ONLINE POLLS; Sahara Reporters was the first to carry out a poll on the 2015 presidential elections. The outcome was quashed by the presidency calling Sahara Reporters APC media. Reno Omokri started his own and the president was being beaten black and blue before associates and colleagues were called to come and vote to stop the embarrassment. When the president started leading by a shameful 1% he closed it. AIT after showing a documentary that is geared towards tarnishing the image of the President Elect, decided to test the how deep the believed cut they gave to him was by starting an Online poll but Nigerians Resoundingly voted Buhari. This made AIT to come up with one of the most flimsy excuse ever seen from a media house that there was massive vote from the same IP address over and over. An excuse that was disputed by experts in the field. Nairaland.com decided to conduct theirs few weeks before the election when the outcome came out i knew Baba was home and dry.

4. IRRELEVANT DOCUMENTARIES: In what appears to be the most shameful campaign of hate, calumny, mudslinging and total show of shame by a ruling party, there were documentaries on some principal characters of the Opposition Party. First was the documentary on Buhari then on Tinubu and Amaechi. I could remember my Primary six younger sister asking me why they were showing all these about Amaechi when he was not contesting for anything. A documentary that was aired late at night, in English, and some of its content were false. Buhari was even shown most times in his military Uniform and in an Authoritative manner that some people mistook the documentary as one praising Baba. No wonder after the Tinubu documentary, Nigerians responded by saying. " Even if you show baba and Tinubu stealing all the money in central bank we would still vote for them"

5. FAYOSE & FFK's COMMEDIES: I was one person that wanted Fayose and FFK to continue with their rants and comic campaigns. Imagine FFk saying they would report Buhari to God for not providing his Certificate. Fayose even showed us pictures and name of the hotel where he feels Buhari was. That Buhari Was receiving treatment and never traveled nor billed to speak at Chatham House in London. FFK went ahead to let us know about Tinubu's mouth odour and Lai's pampers. Many Nigerians never took this guys serious.

6. OBAS BLESSINGS AND ALLEGED OYEDEPO'S GATE OF HELL; To me the Obas blessings was just a formality. Because they changed nothing. But Jonathan Needed anything to assure him of victory. Whether Oyedepo said he will open the gate of hell on those against Jonathan or not, i just knew the President was sinking badly. A case that has involved opening hell is beyond repair.

7. PAID CHATTAM HOUSE PROTESTERS; Before Buhari was set to speak at Chatham house in London, there were news that there would be paid protesters who would carry placards and try to disrupt the event. It was so but in a very funny manner. Some of the protesters said they don't even know why they were there while the organizer said it was her job to gather blacks for such assignments. Some of the protesters were from other country and have been paid to just carry meaningless placards. If it has gotten to the point where protesters are bought, then the president re-election was a Herculean task already. I said to myself.

The Nigerians Elected Into UK Parliament: Are They Really Nigerians?

When the news filtered in that some Nigerians are contesting for the UK parliament seat, many Nigerians were happy their brothers and sisters were contesting for top public office in a white man's land.

But while many was happy and made was jubilant about their exploits, i sat down to ask myself if this guys were really Nigerians. Many Nigerians are quick to associate themselves with success in other land but will support mediocrity in their own Nation.

What really has made the likes of Chuka Umunna and the others Nigerians, aside their names and the fact that one or two of their parents are Nigerians. Apart from that this guys are well and thorough bred UK citizens. They did not rise to the top of their political career through thuggery, they never shed blood just because of their ambition neither have they rigged elections to get to power. Their case is the opposite of their counterparts in Nigeria. So are they really Nigerians?

Nigerians have been proud of these guys but what is it that they are proud of in this guys? That these guys might be pro- homosexuals or might be one? Whereas Nigerians hypocritically despise such people in their country. That these guys have gotten married to a white woman of another tribe, religion or denomination. Or they have girlfriend of white descent as seen in the case of Chuka. Whereas here such marital combinations are frown at by almost every tribe and religion in Nigeria.

Certainly, Chuka and the rest guys who have won their parliamentary election does not discriminate against other religion, tribe, race or language. If they had, they wouldn't have gotten this far in life.

What really has made this guys Nigerians when they hardly think like many of their fathers, mothers, brothers and sisters back home.

Nigeria and Nigerians must change their mentality towards many things and embrace themselves in love, shun tribal sentiments and see each other as one.

Today goes to all Bokoharam victims, the chibok girls and all those facing one insugency or the other. This problem will one day end.

Specially, i dedicate this day to all those who gave their thumb to change or in one way or the other advocated and brought change to Nigeria. May we experience a new Nigeria.

How Many Men Is Too Much For a Lady To Have Slept With Before She Get Married

The issue of a woman's past life sometimes determine her future and most times too, affect how serious a man will take them. Some ladies have spent their lives choosing and realy being careful of how they date and the men they sleep with before they get married. While some, have decided to just live their life without minding whatever consequences that might arise from such way of life.

I have always wondered how many men is ideal for a woman to must have had gone down under their sheet before she eventually get married. By woman, i don't mean a prostitute but an everyday woman or the lady next door as the case may be.

I have a lady friend who started tasting the forbidden fruit right  from sixteen (16) years oldold when she was in SS1. Now she is twenty (20) and has slept with 13 men. She is neither a runs girl nor a prostitute but this are guys that she met on diferent places and platforms. The social media like 2go, Facebook, Twitter Eskimi, Badoo etc. Did not help matters as she said.

Recently, she called me to inform me that she has gotten admission into the University after several attempts that failed. As we were discussing she told me she was going to flex hard and have lots of fun. I said ''u go blow tire na" she said "before nko.If a lady who had already tasted 13 different men from 16-20 years and now in the university, how many men will she sleep with before she graduates? Lets say she minimises her level of libido and decides to make it one guy in each year in school then on her graduation day she must have slept with 17 men in total. Lets also assume she did not get married after her graduation but 3 years later, then your guess is as good as mine.

Now, i've always pondered within myself on the issue of how many men is too much for a woman to have slept with before she finally decides to settle down.

Friends, what do you have to contribute?
